Avid's 2011 Code disc brake pads are designed to fit all 2011 versions of their four-piston code freeride/downhill brakes. Metallic compounds tend to run noisier and put more wear on rotors; however, they do typically last longer than organic pads. Sold as one pair for a single brake, so order two to retrofit both brakes on your bicycle.
Use with H-spring on all Avid disc mechanical disc brakes
Original replacement brake pads with organic lining material on an aluminum carrier for weight optimization. Perfectly matched to the "in-house" brakes of the Elixir series. Compared to metallic pads, organic pads have the advantage of better ability and less noise - with good braking performance and moderate wear.
