If in doubt, take a Bronson out. You know what’s hard about choosing what model of Santa Cruz suits you? It’s having to narrow down what kind of riding you want to do. But what if you don’t want to be pinned down by labels? What if you want to just be a mountain biker in the broadest sense of the word? What if you want to choose how you ride rather than what to ride? If this sounds familiar, then try a Bronson.
The 150-millimeter-travel bike can go deep on any landing and the VPP™ suspension design makes sure that there’s no wasted energy when heading back up for another go.
If you value style at speed or want to have fun feeling fast, then mixed wheels (29” up front, 27.5” out back) show that the spectrum is a loop not opposite points on a scale. The larger front wheel provides more traction and stability that’ll make you feel more confident squaring off the turns and diving for the inside lines. But a 27.5-inch tire in the rear means this bike still loves getting up on the back wheel and into the air.

With 150-millimeters of VPP travel, and stable geometry built around a 65° head tube angle, this is the bike for facing the unknown in demanding terrain.
The Roubion's lower-link mounted shock configuration results in suspension performance that allows you to push harder and charge towards things you used to think were a big deal.
The beauty of VPP suspension is that it requires no links in the rear triangle. This creates a one-piece unified carbon swingarm that's a piece of engineering art and the rock-solid reason why the Roubion tracks so well in rough conditions.

It's part Honzo, part monster, and with geometry derived from the Process X, it's made for those who want to punish the trails. Kona's Cromoly Butted Honzo ESD frame consists of a head angle of 63-degrees, its reach extended to 465-millimeters (size medium), and its seat tube accordingly steepened to 77.5-degrees. Its fork travel is bumped up to 150-millimeters, and its chainstays are still adjustable, in this case from 417 to 432-millimeters long, resulting in a wheelbase of approximately 1,245-millimeters.
Aimed at nothing but ripping riders on the most technical of terrain, the Process X DL is a monster on the trails. A full carbon frame features a RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate rear shock boasting 161mm of travel.

Extra travel, extra fun. From rowdy enduro runs to backcountry missions on steep, chunky singletrack, this new composite 29er builds on the Trance 29 platform with beefed-up suspension and adjustable frame geometry.
This new member of the Trance family is designed with a longer travel suspension setup for added control on the most challenging trails. The full composite frame is engineered for 135-millimeters of rear travel and 150-millimeters up front. The Maestro rear suspension has a two-stage adjustable Advanced Forged Composite rocker arm with a trunnion-mount shock. A flip-chip-equipped rocker arm lets you adjust frame geometry for your own riding style and terrain.
To fine-tune the ride, you can choose a steeper or slacker headtube angle (66.2 or 65.5 degrees) and seattube angle (77.9 or 77.2 degrees), which results in either a 30-millimeter or 40-millimeter bottom bracket drop. And it’s all built around 29-inch wheels for added stability on rugged terrain.

Giant engineered the geometry of the Advanced composite frame and swingarm around larger diameter 29-inch wheels. That means shorter chainstays, a longer top tube, and just the right angles with the headtube (65 degrees) and seat tube (76.8 degrees). Then they gave it an updated Maestro suspension system with 146mm of rear suspension. Aided by a trunnion-mount shock and Advanced Forged Composite rocker arm, they came up with a system that feels super plush, active, and shreddable. Beyond that, the new Reign Advanced Pro 29 features everything you need in a pro-level enduro machine, including a cleanly routed dropper seat post, the latest Giant WheelSystem with Boost hub spacing, and tubeless tires set up right out of the box.

Whether you're smashing through the roughest trails imaginable or scrubbing lips in the park, the Slayer is built for those who charge. Rocky Mountain has made it longer and slacker, with better small-bump sensitivity and a more progressive end-stroke. For those who like to fine-tune their ride before they shred, we kept the RIDE-4 adjustment system to allow for further geometry and ride feel customization.

Amp up your trail riding adventures with this all-conquering 29er. Whether you’re gunning for faster enduro times or bagging a big backcountry loop, do it like a boss on this big-wheeled singletrack shredder.
The latest iteration of this legendary trail bike marks a huge step forward, offering a true advantage in all-around trail performance. It starts with a full composite frame that’s fitted with Giant's most up-to-date Maestro suspension. The Advanced Forged composite rocker arm and trunnion-mount shock help produce 115-millimeters of smooth rear-wheel travel that’s active and sensitive to small bumps, giving you killer traction and confident control. And the frame geometry is updated with progressive headtube and seat tube angles, shorter chainstays, and a longer top tube—all engineered to balance the speed and control of its 29-inch wheels with the quickness and agility you need to rail corners, hammer through rock gardens, and do it all with confidence and control.
The 2020 Process 134 CR DL 29 represents four years of design iterations, mechanical engineering, and real-world testing. Born from the beloved Process 111, it ticks all of the longer/lower/slacker boxes while still maintaining the classic Kona feel of really freaking fun. A carbon frame features a RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate rear shock. With a build this sweet the 134 CR DL leaves nothing to be desired.
Crafted from Santa Cruz’s famous Carbon CC manufacturing, this formidable MTB boasts a lengthened frame with a slackened geometry. Paired with 170mm of rear travel, the VPP suspension cleverly passes the shock through the seat tube.
