- Threads at chainstay, seatstay pivots, and shock mount are all replaceable. So if you do damage by being a ham-fisted mechanic it’s a simple fix, not a frame-damaging one.
- All 5mm Allen key broaches throughout, so it's easy to do quick bolt checks. It’s so easy to work on the bike that even the marketing people can do it (if we hide the sharp tools from them), and it requires no specialist tools.

- Full of modularity, the Relay can be ridden with the battery installed and powered, or removed, which transforms it into a regular mountain bike. Its versatility allows you to take it on a road trip where your plans include riding in areas that are legal for eMTB's, and also areas that do not allow eMTB's. The tool free battery door allows you to remove and reinstall the battery in a matter of seconds.
- The Relay and Relay PNW share the same frame. The lower shock flip chip adjusts the geometry to compensate for a 27.5" or 29" rear wheel. Both Relay and Relay PNW have the ability to be run at 160 or 170mm travel front and rear, dual 29 or mixed wheel. Riders can choose the Relay with dual 29 and 160mm travel for a more lightweight, trail bike feel, or chase their burly trail dreams with the heavy hitting Relay PNW with 170mm travel and mixed wheels. As you begin to ride beyond the speed cutoff you're not penalized when continuing to push beyond the assistance like that of traditional eMTBs. The 430Wh battery, 60Nm torque, 250 watts continuous power, 450 watts peak power, and overall bike weight work harmoniously together. - The 430Wh battery weighs 4.85lb/2.2kg. It is easily removable via the tool free battery door underneath the downtube. - The simple and ergonomic ring controller adjusts modes with a gentle nudge up or down. Pushing it up increases the power level, pushing it down decreases power level, pushing inward will activate walk mode. - The sleek display on the top tube consists of 5 led lights to give you an indication of power mode and battery life. The Relay has three power modes designated by different LED colors. River mode (Blue) is preset to match the amount of energy you are delivering to the pedals. If you're soft pedaling it delivers a minimal amount of assistance. - Anti-squat refers to how much your pedaling inputs stiffen the suspension. Think of it as yanking your chain, and therefore your pedals, backwards every time you hit a bump. Not enough anti-squat and you have a bike that bobs under power. Too much and the bike will be harsh and not as able to absorb bumps while under power. We’ve worked hard to improve (reduce) anti-squat on our bikes and the result is more traction and more freedom.

- A new Maestro rear suspension system gives trail riders 140mm of rear travel. The trunnion mount shock and Advanced Forged Composite rocker arm combine for a longer stroke that has a smooth, active feel, plus greater stiffness in the chassis for precision control. The rear suspension is paired with a 150mm travel fork, providing superior confidence and control on technical singletrack.
- A three-position Maestro flip chip lets riders dial in frame geometry for their riding style and terrain. The high setting adds more ground clearance, a good option for tight, technical terrain. In the low setting, the head tube gets slacker and the bottom bracket drops, ideal for confident handling at higher speeds. The middle position is neutral. In addition, a new headset flip chip adjusts reach so that riders can easily achieve their preferred positioning.
- All models come with 29-inch front and rear wheels, but the flip chip lets you opt for a mixed wheel setup including a 27.5 rear. The stock 29-inch rear wheel optimizes stability and roll-over capabilities, while a 27.5 delivers a more agile, snappier feel and more saddle-to-tire clearance in the rear. Some riders favor this “mullet” setup for riding steep, technical terrain.
