Modern mountain bikes have redefined what riders are capable of, pushing the requirements for heavy-duty power further than ever before. Maven Ultimate is our answer to that evolution, with monstrous 18 and 19.5-millimeter pistons driving 50% more power than Code. But best-in-class power means nothing unless you’re able to harness it. Swinglink translates rider input for progressive power throughout the lever pull, maintaining SRAM’s signature ride feel. And because of a stiff 4-bolt caliper that sheds an incredible amount of heat, that feel remains consistent, so the last corner feels like the first corner. But with so much baseline power on hand, there is more range than ever before to tune the ride qualities to exactly how you want with different pad materials and rotor sizes.
Maven Ultimate pairs a sleek high-polish lever body with a caliper with machined edges and titanium hardware for a finish worthy of any modern super bike. And for unrivaled ease of customization, features tool-free Reach and Contact Point Adjust. Maven is the expert, but Maven Ultimate is the pinnacle.
