The Tallboy is a short-travel bike with long legs. Our perennial 29-inch bike has gone on a diet and bulked up the amount of travel to fit the kind of rider looking to maximize power hours or just ride all the hours. It’s light and efficient enough to climb with the best of them, yet punches way above its weight class as soon as the trail turns down. Tallboy has always been fun and capable, but we felt it was time “light” joined the mix.
Santa Cruz tuned a lighter, more compliant carbon layup to make it more forgiving on the legs and the ankles, while remaining precise and confidence-inspiring. It also now has four-bar suspension, as well as going up in travel (140/130mm). It hasn't just put on muscle though. The kinematics – lowered anti-squat and anti-rise – provides a lot of traction and bump-beating power. While the short-travel nature keeps it playful, there's a lot of control and stability, which results in heightened confidence anywhere.

Local Pickup: Most orders will be ready for local pickup the day the order is placed, or by the date and time you request at the time you place your order. We will notify you if there is a delay. Please select In-store Pickup in cart and enter the information in the fields provided.
International Shipping: We do not ship outside of the U.S. at this time.
Free Shipping: We provide free standard shipping on orders over $100 within the continental U.S. Bikes and frames under $1,500 will incur a $100 shipping fee. We can ship bikes and frames and larger items like wheelsets to Hawaii and Alaska, but there will be an additional charge to cover air freight shipping.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

Damages and issues : Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items: Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards. We do offer returns on sale items, but the customer will be responsible for return shipping. We also do not offer free returns on bicycles, frames, complete wheels or rims, or on forks. The customer will be responsible for the return shipping on these items.
Exchanges: The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
