The 2019 Scott Ransom is truly designed to do it all. This 170mm travel 29er weighs in under 30 pounds! It's progressive geometry allows it to climb like an XC bike and descends like a park bike, with suspension adjustments controlled by a 3-position lever right from the handlebars. It’s perfect for long, legit climbs with demanding downhills, but versatile enough to ride anywhere.
The Path Bike Shop buyer Brian Blair took a trip to the Swiss Alps last summer to ride the Scott Ransom in its native habitat...stop by the shop and ask him all about it! And we’ve got several in stock, so you can check one out in person.
The 2019 Santa Cruz Chameleon is up for any kind of riding - dirt or asphalt, mountain or urban, geared or singlespeed - the choice is yours. Wheels have been upsized to either 29-inch or 27.5+ wheels, the wheel change is accomplished via interchangeable dropouts. Geeared options use 148mm 'Boost' spacing while the single speed options use 142 spacing to accommodate dedicated singlespeed hubs.
Now with a carbon frame option (pictured, top)! Santa Cruz took the fun-loving, shreddy spirit and adjustability of the beloved aluminum Chameleon and added a lighter, faster, more advanced version with carbon frame. Same do-it-all hardtail, even more fun.
Pictured (center and lower) is the 2018 Santa Cruz Chameleon with alloy frame in two color choices: blue or orange.
