...that mountain bikers should yield to all other trail users on multi-use trails?

Did you know...

Mountain bikers yield to all others on multi-use trails.

With trail use on the rise during the recent bike and outdoor recreation boom, this bit of etiquette is more important than ever. Cyclists are expected to yield to hikers, runners and equestrians on multi-use trails for everyone's safety. Also remember that the downhill rider should yield to uphill traffic.

Consider using a bar-mounted bell to alert other users of your presence, checking your speed through blind turns, and always be polite when interacting with others.
