The ultra versatile Bell Super 2R is a full-face helmet with a chin bar that can be removed to create a half shell helmet. This ultra versatile helmet bridges the gap between a half shell helmet and a dedicated full face helmet, giving riders the option to have greater coverage but without needing to carry two separate helmets.
The Bell Super 2R MIPS Equipped MTB helmet (Bell's Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) takes it a step further, providing an extra layer of protection inside the helmet that rotates in order to potentially slow or reduce the amount of energy transferred to or from the head on impact.
All Bell helmets are safety certified, with additional features like breakaway screws and camera mount, adjustable visor, and overbrow ventilation. Finally! A half shell helmet for climbs and trail riding, with a full face option for the DH portion of the ride. Brilliant!
We also have the original Bell Super 2R (pictured, left) in a variety of sizes and colors. MSRP is $200.

The Schwalbe Nobby Nic still has the lightweight, 67-thread-per-inch, high-volume casing which gave the original Nic its fast and supple rolling qualities. New improvements include a tougher and reinforced SnakeSkin sidewall, a sturdier and wider tread pattern, and a more substantial edging tread with Schwalbe's addition of a staggered row of transition blocks for more stability entering or exiting corners.
All 2015 Schwalbe MTB tires will be "Tubeless Easy" - which means they need some sort of sealant, but are designed to be easily mounted and run tubeless. This tire has a wide range of applications, from fast cross country to technical enduro riding and everything in between.

The new Charger Damper design is similar to what is used on the Pike suspension fork. It's a sealed cartridge design that uses an extruded bladder filled with 3-weight oil that expands to contain the oil displaced by the fork as it moves through its travel. This design helps keep damping consistent by ensuring that no air mixes with the oil, even during rough descents. Just like the Pike, the service interval for the BoXXer’s Charger Damper is approximately 200 hours and the bleed process can be done in just a few minutes.
The new BoXXer also features Rapid Recovery™ rebound, Fast Black stanchions and 27.5” options (pictured here).

New pedals in stock from HT Components!
The new HT Components X1 DH clipless pedal gives you the best of both worlds - platform stability and clipless security. Their new clipless pedal design allows the use of a flat-sole, clipless style shoe, incorporating HT's clipless technology with their well-known flat pedal stable platform for ultimate traction.
Two-time UCI World Cup Series champion Aaron Gwin has tested the pedals since October 2013 and he won the 2014 UCI Downhill World Cup in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, on the prototypes.
This new SPD shoe lineup for aggressive trail riders and enduro racers features Shimano's new TORBAL (Torsional Balance) Technology, which better connects the rider and pedal with what the bicycle is doing underfoot while maintaining comfort and flexibility through all ranges of riding motion. They also feature new dual-density, extra-cushion insoles for stability during the pedal stroke and enhanced shock absorption and cushioning for the foot.
The Shimano SH-M200 provides increased protection and excellent off-bike traction; a shoe with XC efficiency and weight and the durability, grip and armor that trail riders require. MSRP is $180.
The Shimano XTR PD-M9000 are lighter in weight than previous generations, with the renowned reliability of SPD design.
Our bike fit staff is excited about these new ergonomic bike saddles from SQlab being in stock here at The Path.
The SQLlab saddles feature an extended nose which is approximately 25 mm longer than most traditional saddles. This longer saddle nose allows the rider to utilize the saddle better for increased control while steering the bike in technical situations and offers a better platform for climbing steep sections of trail. The saddle nose is also lowered, in order to help distribute bodyweight better.
The spine-friendly "active" movement of the 611 saddles provide increased lateral and rearward flexibility which supports more active riders with a better connection to the bike and decreased pressure on the spine and joints.
We have SQlab 611 active and 611 race models in both 140mm and 150mm widths, prices range from $119-$169.
The SRAM Guide family of brakes is a new design from the ground up, to create a combination of braking reliability and control. With their new SwingLink™ technology SRAM was able to tune how fast the pistons in the brake lever advance during certain times of the brake lever stroke. This results in less deadband (i.e., the time between when the brake lever is pulled and the brake engages) while maintaining a smooth modulation.
The new lever assembly has a piggyback reservoir to create better performance as well as better management over the brake fluid. The lever was also shortened for a more ergonomic shape for one-finger braking. They feature a lever reach adjust as well as pad-contact adjust.
The SRAM Guide RS (pictured, upper) MSRP is $149 per brake, without rotors.
The SRAM Guide RSC (pictured, lower) MSRP is $199 per brake, without rotors.
Super HOT new arrival, the DVO Emerald Inverted 26er Downhill suspension fork. This downhill fork is sure to please the eye of the beholder and everyone surrounding them!
DVO Suspension is new to the market of suspension but their offering is far from basic. They went straight for the high-end downhill suspension market, and they did it well. This fork is loaded with adjustments to suit any terrain you're riding on.
Starting with the top right leg, you will see the rebound knob sporting 38 clicks of adjustment. At the bottom of the right leg sits two knobs: one controlling high speed compression and the other for low speed. Moving to the top left leg, there is a cap for air pressure adjustments and also a knob that controls what's called OTT (or Off The Top). This knob allows the rider to externally tune the negative spring to increase or decrease plushness when needed.
This 26-inch version weighs in at exactly 3500 grams. MSRP is $2,239.
The Santa Cruz Palmdale MTB grips combine a single lock-ring design with the staying power of dual lock-ring.
A taper-lock core uses an internal sleeve that narrows towards the last portion of the grip, which clamps onto the end of the bar to eliminate any twisting. There's a flared closed end for comfort and an intuitive feel for the bar end, a long grip length for plenty of room to reposition your hand position when needed, and a moto-knurl pattern for a great grip and feel in all riding conditions. MSRP is $18 per pair.
These grips have a ultra narrow, knurled surface similar to the ODI Ruffian. A big difference: the AG-1 has replaced the traditional outer lockring and replaced it with an integrated plastic end cap, which is covered by the rubber portion of the grip. This extends the real estate for your hands by 1/4", without making an overall longer length grip. These grips come with one lock on clamp already in place, making installation super easy by just sliding on the grip on and tightening one hex head bolt. MSRP is $30 per pair.
The KMC X11SL DLC is KMC's premium option for the 11-speed drivetrain. It features their hollow-pin, open inner and outer plate design with a Diamond Like Coating (DLC) to help reduce wear dramatically. Light weight, durability, bushingless construction, and noise reduction will help to make your ride a little nicer. Weighs approximately 243 grams with 116 links.
MSRP is $136.
