Part of Kona's adventure lineup of bikes, the 2018 Kona Rove NRB DL was truly created to do everything well: CX races, touring, bike packing, gravel riding, even commuting. It draws from Kona's renowned cyclocross history and frame geometry, but the Rove has a slightly lower bottom bracket to provide a bit more stability and a slightly wider tire clearance.
The internally routed frame is made of Kona 6061 butted aluminum and is paired to Kona’s CX full carbon flat-mount disc fork. It uses a mixture of Shimano Ultegra and 105 for the groupset. The 2×11 drivetrain pairs a 50/34 front to 11×32 in the rear, giving plenty of gear options for many different needs. The hydraulic brakes–with centerlock front and rear 160mm rotors–provide robust stopping power. Comes stock with 650x47c WTB Horizon Road Plus TCS tires, mounted on WTB Asym i23 TCS rims which come tubeless ready. In fact, this bike can handle tire widths up to 650B 2.1 or 700x28.
Off-road capabilities with on-road perks, like dual water bottle cage mounts, rack and fender mounts. MSRP is $2099.
