The new 2016 Kona Hei Hei DL Trail frame gives you 120mm of front suspension and a component package that’s more Trail oriented than Race.
The new Hei Hei platform centers around Kona's new Fuse Independent Suspension—a clean, simple design that eliminates a pivot at the chainstay seatstay junction to create a lighter, stiffer ride feel. The frame itself features low-slung frame weight and excellent standover, highlighted by a rider fit that incorporates a short stem, long front center and compact rear triangle. Overall an extremely capable, light, quick, and performance-savvy cross-country dual-suspension frame design.
2016 Hei Hei DL Trail 29er Frame with Fox Float shock and SRAM maxle, we have sizes M and L in stock. MSRP is $1699.
The 2016 Kona Honzo AL/DL (pictured, right) is a brand new model offered this year. Kona has taken the aggressive and progressive geometry of its cromoly cousin (the Honzo AL) and reduces the weight by nearly 40% with this alloy frame. Kona calls this bike a "Process 111 without the rear travel". They've added an increased reach to match the sizing used on the Kona Process bikes, and a press fit 92 BB and 12x148 axle for maximum tire clearance. Tani, the shop owner, plans on building one of these up for himself!
We have this frame available in sizes S, M, L. MSRP is $499.
As they say, steel is real...and Kona always knows how to keep it real. Do your own custom build with the 2016 Kona Honzo SL steel hardtail frame with SRAM maxle (pictured, left center). This is another model that Kona compared to the Process line. It's got an increased reach to match the sizing on the Process bikes, a slack 68-degree head tube angle, low bottom bracket and short chainstays, plus a super-low top tube for great standover. MSRP is $525.
The popular 2016 Kona Process 134 (pictured, lower left) is a great all-around trail bike option. This is the very first time Kona has offered the frame alone for the Process 134! Comes with a RockShox Monarch RL shock with 134mm of travel, and a lightweight aluminum frame. A progressive geometry features short chainstays (for confident cornering, maneuverability, and jump-ability), a low bottom bracket for an in-the-bike feel, and the lowest standover possible on all sizes.
We have the Kona Process 134 frame available in sizes M and L. MSRP is $1699.
It's a unique character: a shorter travel bike (125mm of travel in the rear, 140mm in front) with a long, low, and slack geometry (67 degree head angle, 425mm chainstay, low BB). Have your fun out there on the trails, this bike will give you the playfulness of a light, shorter travel bike with all the capabilities of a longer travel bike.
Shown here is the Transition Scout frameset with RockShox Monarch RT3 Debonair shock, size large. MSRP is $1799.
