Custom Kona Process 153 mountain bike at The Path Bike Shop in Tustin, CAIn preparation for the SoCal DH season coming just around the berm, Tani, the owner of The Path Bike Shop (a gravity-minded rider) has built up an extraordinary Enduro bike as well as a shop favorite - a Kona Process 153.

Many riders can definitely benefit from a true DH rig but if you have enough bike handling abilities, an Enduro bike can offer a more lively feel for the kind of terrain we have down here in SoCal. Especially at local ride locations like Snow Summit in Big Bear, CA!

Some of the unique features of this particular 153 build:

  • 170mm crankset (to get down and dirty)
  • ENVE M70 wheels (why not?)
  • Fox Float 36 w/2 volume reducers
  • SRAM GX 1x11 dérailleur
  • XO1 cassette (cuz it's lighter than anything else)
  • SRAM Guide RSC brakes
  • Customized ODI lock-on handlebar grips
