Baldwin & Sons plans to build up to 930 homes AND a 10,000 square foot shopping center, all on a very small 200 acres of land. This area is located immediately adjacent to Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park, the Aliso Creek Waterway, and existing homes in Portola Hills, CA.

This special area currently provides a unique combination of wildlife habitat, recreational opportunities, and open space in the heart of Lake Forest and Mission Viejo. This potential development will have a HUGE negative environmental impact in our local area, and a loss of the beautiful scenic views that the residents and visitors of Portola Hills see every day.

The Oakley Trails are located near Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park and The Path Bike Shop Live Oak. These are really fun mountain bike trails; we ride them often on our weekly shop rides. These trails would be gone forever if this development project becomes a reality.

Find out more about the project on the Save Portola Hills website to learn what you can do to help, and be sure to sign up on their email list for updates.
